    Product Details

"Behind the wonderful name Blue Cornflower is a creamy, spreadable blue cheese with a mild, slightly salty and aromatic taste. The cheese is white to yellowish with a few holes and is made from pasteurised cow's milk. It has its origin in North Jutland. Look out for "Blå Kornblomst" in the Danish supermarket - you can enjoy it both with brunch and on the cheese platter with wines with a matching sweetness." Morgan

Indulge in the creamy and mild perfection of Blue Cornflower Cheese, lovingly crafted with years of experience and expertise. Produced at Gedsted Dairy in close cooperation with Thise Dairy, this exceptional cheese is a testament to the dedication of passionate artisans.

Gedsted Dairy, renowned for its commitment to organic practices, specializes in crafting exquisite blue mould cheeses. The entire cheese production process, from sourcing organic milk to meticulous cheese-making techniques, is conducted with precision and care.

To achieve the desired taste and texture, Blue Cornflower is meticulously crafted in small cheese vats, where the milk is stirred by hand. This hands-on approach ensures that each batch of cheese is imbued with the perfect balance of flavors and textures, reflecting the artisanal craftsmanship of Gedsted Dairy.

Far from being a nostalgic practice, the manual control of the cheese-making process is deemed essential by the experts at Gedsted Dairy. According to a colleague from the dairy, this hands-on approach is a prerequisite for imparting the cheese with its distinct taste and texture, ensuring a truly exceptional culinary experience.
