Tunworth made by Stacey Hedges and Charlotte Spruce in Hampshire and named after the nearby hamlet of Tunworth.tunworth team

Stacey and her head cheesemaker and business partner Charlotte moved into a new purpose-built dairy. There, they make up to 1000 cheeses a day using pasteurised cow’s milk bought from a dairy cooperative.

The whole process is done by hand, from the cutting to the ladling.

tunworth cheese making

Tunworth Cheese is a stunning English Camembert, this multi award winning cheese, has a long lasting sweet , nutty flavour and a creamy texture with a thin wrinkled rind. Tunworth Cheese is made by hand in small batches in our purpose built creamery with pasteurised whole cows milk.

This is a real favourite in our cheese shop and over the christmas period we sell around 100-150 a week, this cheese is an all year round treat. Perfect in the summer months with bread and charcuterie or beautifully baked in the winter months.

So this April it is our cheese of the month
