At Cheese Of Muswell Hill has launched the first ever



What is an Urban Cheese?

We have put together what we think is an impressive range of cheeses made by a new generation of cheesemakers who have moved away from the traditional farmhouse into towns and cities. Obviously the milk still comes from the countryside, but these talented group of individuals are now producing cheeses that rival the very best traditional favourites.

Our collection includes a Northern Irish blue, a pecorino from Leeds, a north London feta from Waltham Cross and a buratta from West London.  These cheeses have caused quite a stir and are becoming firm (and soft) favourites with our customers, both in our shop and those we supply.

An outstanding, new, raw-milk cheese made by Michael Tompson

• Muswell Hill Soft Cheese

A semi-so sheep’s milk cheese matured by our very own Morgan McGlynn

• Pomegranate Ketchup

Handmade with all natural Lebanese pomegranate molasses, rich tomato and sweet spices – perfect with any good cheese.
