Everyone knows how yummy and versatile pesto is; so great in fact that we now stock two new lovely pestos with a twist. Artichoke and Lemon Pesto and a Sweet Roasted Pepper Pesto, great for adding to any pasta dish or served as a dip or on bread. If you want to try something a little different you can experiment by adding each of them to soups or as an accompaniment to potatoes or vegetables. Of course, they both contain parmesan cheese and would go very nicely alongside Mozzarella di Bufala.

The word ‘pesto’ comes from the Genoese word ‘pestâ’ meaning to pound or to crush. The same word formed the roots of the modern English word ‘pestle’, relating to the traditional methods of making an authentic pesto.
